Tom's Gun Shop offers your choice of two Concealed Handgun License* courses.

1 Day Course: Fingerprinting, Photos, Firearm Qualification and paperwork, Classroom Lecture, Discussion of Laws, and Test. Note: Mandatory minimum class length is 10 hours. 2 Day Course: Day One - Fingerprinting, Photos, Firearm Qualification and paperwork. |
- Individualized classes are available to suit your schedule or needs
- Classes limited to 6 people in order to provide personalized instruction and encourage interaction
- Informal and relaxed atmosphere
- We encourage you to qualify using your personal firearm (minimum size for qualification is .32 caliber)
- If you do not want a "Revolver Only" license restriction, you must use a semi-automatic weapon. If you do not have a semi-auto we furnish a 9mm semi-auto and ammunition at no charge. This is the only caliber we furnish. If you prefer another caliber you must furnish your own firearm and ammunition.

First Time Applicants - Tom's Gun Shop will furnish you with application packets. If you wish to provide your own packet you may order it from Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Phone: 512/424-7293 or from the DPS Website: http://txdps.state.tx.us
Renewals - You must bring your application form from Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Austin office.
Cost of CHL:
CHL Class, $150
plus Texas State Fee,
Check DPS for current fee.
CHL Renewal $75 plus Texas State Fee. Check DPS for current fee.

On completion of the CPL course you need to send your completed packet information to the Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS) Austin office along with the application fee in the form of a personal check, money order, cashier's check, or you may pay online at the DPS website.
